The Digital Teaching Collection of Student Three-Dimensional Artwork documents the work created by students in Professors Cynthia Cetlin and Jon Quick’s Metals courses. Viewing images is a necessary component of studio art courses. For each of their assignments, Cetlin and Quick give presentations of students’ and artists’ work in order to describe the assignment and stimulate creative ideas. This collection supplements those presentations and is intended to be used by students enrolled in 3-D Design, Metals, Sculpture, and Independent Study courses. In addition, it serves as an online showcase of the work done by those OWU students who plan to continue their careers as artists.
