The Digital Costume Collection (DCC) includes photographs, research, and catalogues of the vintage and antique clothing collection of The College of Wooster department of Theatre and Dance. This image collection provides access to the items from multiple angles, including detail and construction views. The archived garments are helpful in costume design as a resource for construction techniques, fabric choice, trim, and decorative details.
Teaching and learning is the focus of the DCC with inquiry‐based learning supporting both collection development and information and cultural literacy acquisition. The DCC was begun by Julie Melrose '11 as a Senior Independent Study and continued by the Department of Theatre and Dance.
